Position and Location:
We are currently seeking Journeymen Instrumentation Technicians in the Greeley, CO area.
Duties/Responsibilities:

Installs, repairs, and commissioning of electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures.

Installs cable tray, conduits, and pipes for electrical wires and cables.

Ensures systems complies with electrical codes.
-
Installs circuit breakers and other electrical hardware and connects wiring to them.
-
Connects electrical systems to power sources to provide electricity for the process/equipment.
-
Tests electrical systems to ensure proper installation and operation.
-
Inspects electrical systems to determine whether repairs are needed.
-
Replaces conduit and wiring as needed.
-
Replaces circuit breakers as needed.
-
Work on voltages from 0-750V.
-
Install, repairs, and commissioning of instruments including level, flow, temperature, vibrations, and pressure.
-
Install, repairs, and commissioning valve controllers and positioners.
-
Bend and install tubing.
-
Cut, thread, and install piping.
-
Troubleshoot and repair problems in a plant and field setting.
-
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Show up on time prepared for work.
-
Fill out and/or assist with job site hazard assessments.
-
Ensure all paperwork is completed in a timely fashion.

Train and assign helpers on daily work tasks.
-
Calibrate devices with Hi/Low & TREX meters.
-
Train and assign helpers on daily work tasks.

Troubleshoot VFDs, starters, control circuits, motors, etc.
Required Skills/Abilities:
-
High school diploma or equivalent.
-
Ability to read blueprints.
-
Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
-
Proficient in the use of test meters and other diagnostic equipment.
-
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
-
Computer knowledge for use of on-line work orders and time sheets.
-
Hold a valid driver’s license.
-
Ability to understand and communicate in a proper manner on email, text, or phone.
-
Relay information and questions through the proper hierarchy chain.
-
Ability to adapt to last minute changes and redirect course of project completion accordingly.
-
Ability to work independently, or as part of a team.
Education and Experience:
-
High school diploma or equivalent.
-
Minimum of 4 years related experience.
-
Ongoing education, completion of a formal apprenticeship, or valid journeyman electrician’s license.
Physical Requirements:
-
Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring.
-
Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders or scaffolding.
-
Must be physically capable of all mentioned duties.
-
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
-
Work minimum 8 hours a day.
-
Work in all weather conditions.
-
Must pass pre-employment screenings.
